Last year we enjoyed so many activities with your children. We have seen their fantastic dance moves at the discos, seen the awe in their eyes when Santa visited their classrooms, watched them shine at sports day and so much more.
Do you work for a business who is invested in future careers? Do you enjoy speaking with young people and igniting a spark?
Pupils, their families and staff at Cranbrook Education Campus, a proud member of the Ted Wragg Trust, are celebrating outstanding GCSE results today (22nd August).
This morning, we were thrilled to announce that 64% of our Year 11 students achieved a pass in both English and Maths, while 100% of our students secured the qualifications needed to advance to their chosen post-16 destinations.
Cranbrook Education Campus (CEC), part of the Ted Wragg Trust, has been rated "Good" by Ofsted following an inspection in May. The all-through school received "Good" ratings in all areas evaluated by the school watchdog, including the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management.
As we continue to grow our ambitious and inclusive campus, we are excited to announce that we are looking to recruit a Primary Deputy Headteacher overseeing Quality of Education and Senior Leader in Maths to join the Secondary campus
The Year 11 Sports Studies group embarked on an enlightening educational journey centred around a visit to the Exeter Chiefs' stadium and training facilities. This immersive experience not only integrated with the sports studies curriculum but also offered a captivating glimpse into the high-level facilities available.

Governors play a vital role in supporting our school leadership and transforming the lives of our young people. I am writing to invite you to stand for election as a parent governor or nominate another parent to do so. In our school we have provision for two parent governors and there is currently one vacancy.

The governing board, with the headteacher, has overall responsibility for the running of the school. Governing boards have two core strategic functions:
• Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction.
• Holding the headteachers to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils.
No special qualifications are needed, and the most important thing is to have a keen interest in the school and be prepared to play an active part in the governing board’s work. Training is available for all governors and this governing board has an expectation that those new to being a governor, attend free induction training.
The PG03 Disqualification Statement summarises the circumstances under which someone cannot serve as a Governor. In addition, parents/carers who have paid employment in the school for 500 or more hours per academic year or who are elected members of the Local Authority, are not eligible to stand in these elections. Nominations must be from parents or carers with children at the school.
Last night was an exceptionally special night, celebrating the outstanding members of our trust community who have been nominated for their contributions to transforming lives, strengthening communities, and making the world a better place.
One of the evening's highlights was hearing and seeing our Trust Choir come together. I'm so proud of each our Cranbrook Singers who joined in these truly magical moments of music!
