Head of English (Maternity Cover)
We are seeking to recruit a temporary Head of English who can contribute to the continued improvement of our English department. There is some flexibility offered in terms of contracted hours, with the post offered as either 1fte or 0.8fte.
This pivotal role requires a leader with a passion for quality of education, and is someone who can drive positive change, ensuring our commitment to transforming lives through excellent education, permeates every aspect of our school. Are you a passionate and dedicated English teacher looking for a flexible role? We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled practitioners to join our English department with effect from 1st September 2025. We can offer a variety of part-time contract combinations to suit applicant’s requirements. The successful candidates will ideally be able to inspire and excite our students with their knowledge and passion for the subject, fostering a love of literature, and helping learners develop essential language skills.
