Cranbrook Education Campus pupils celebrate #Crantastic GCSE success

Pupils, families, and staff at Cranbrook Education Campus (CEC), a proud member of the Ted Wragg Trust, are celebrating #Crantastic GCSE results today (21st August 2025).

As a school rooted in its community, CEC lives by its values – the PERKS of being #Crantastic: Proud, Engaged, Ready, Kind and Safe – and works relentlessly to ensure every pupil has the best possible outcomes and opportunities for the future.

This morning, we are thrilled to announce:

  • 68% of Year 11 pupils achieved a pass in both English and Maths

  • 75% of Year 10 pupils secured a pass in their early entry English Literature

  • An Attainment 8 score of 46.46 – above the national average

These achievements come alongside above-national outcomes across the Campus, including Early Years Good Level of Development (GLD), Year 1 Phonics Screening Check, Year 4 Multiplication Check, and Key Stage 2 SATs.

In 2024, Ofsted inspectors praised our ambitious curriculum, particularly highlighting how the school works relentlessly to remove barriers to pupils’ participation and success. They also commended the school is ambitious for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities

Our dedication to providing an inclusive education is evident in the achievements of all our pupils and the personal success stories shared below.

A school at the heart of its community
Stephen Farmer, Head of Campus at Cranbrook Education Campus, said:

“As we celebrate the achievements of our pupils on GCSE Results Day, it’s also important to recognise the wider role our school plays in supporting our community. This year, the EX5-Alive Community Hub, based at CEC, delivered over 13,000 support interactions for local families – from emergency food parcels to mental health referrals and housing guidance. Backed by the National Lottery Community Fund, this initiative reflects our deep commitment to care, inclusion, and outreach. We’re especially proud of the partnerships we’ve built to support refugee families and those seeking asylum, showing that our school’s impact goes far beyond the classroom.”

Moira Marder, CEO of the Ted Wragg Trust, added:
“A huge congratulations to all pupils at Cranbrook Education Campus for their fantastic GCSE results. These achievements are a testament to their hard work, resilience, and the unwavering support of our brilliant staff and families. I’m especially proud of how CEC continues to nurture well-rounded young people, not only through academic success but through community connection, enrichment opportunities, and a strong sense of values. We wish every pupil the very best in the exciting paths ahead of them.”
